In my city there are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, fall and winter. All the seasons have different weather.
My city is on the north of China, so it’s very cold and windy in winter. It snows a lot. Everything becomes white and beautiful. We like making snowmen.
It becomes warmer, when spring comes. It’s sunny and often rains in spring. Everything becomes green and alive again.
Summer comes after spring. It’s hot and sunny in summer. I like summer best, because we have a long vacation, can eat many fruits and ice cream.
After summer nature goes to sleep again, because fall comes. It’s cool and often cloudy in fall. It becomes colder and colder. Then winter and snow come back.
Every season in my city is very different and that’s why it’s great!

Thursday August1， Sunny
I got up at 7;30 in the morning, made my bed, took a shower, then had my breakfast. I had some rice, vegetables and green tea for breakfast. After that I cleaned my room, helped my mom to clean the house. Then I did my homework and read my favorite book.
In the afternoon, I went to the beach with my friends, Sandy and Rose. We went there by car.
It was a hot and sunny day. The sea was very blue and clean. We swam and played in the water for two hours. We were very tired, so we sat on the beach.
I made a very big sandcastle on the beach. Sandy collected some shells, they were beautiful. And Rose was sitting under an umbrella. We were very hungry, we went to a snack bar. We ate hamburgers and drank orange juice. We had a lot of fun on the beach.
When I came back home, it was already late, so I took a shower and went to sleep. I had very good dreams that night.
